This fall, JC and I finally got around to taking down the old duck pen. We had set up a small rock wall around it to defend against predators. Instead of chucking the rocks back into the pasture, we left them piled around there.
We’ve had several balmy days in the past week or two. It took a little convincing, but Silas has discovered that he loves building ramps, bridges, and tunnels with rocks, sticks, and old boards. His trains and his car have had lots of new adventures.
