Snowy Day

I’m pretty thrilled that we managed to get at least one decent snow this winter. Winter storm “Saturn” dropped about nine inches at my house.

My husband’s office was closed, so he worked from home (and took a break to build “a snow monkey king” under Silas’ direction).

Silas hasn’t seen much snow since last year, when we were in Michigan, and I’m not sure how much of that he remembers. He didn’t seem to know what to think of it.

Petra was Not Amused. She lasted about five minutes outside. 

The Eeyore house looks especially Eeyore-ish in the snow, just like in The House at Pooh Corner.

 

It’s already mostly gone, but we had fun while it lasted. As I tell my Ohio friends–it snows just enough to be cute, here!
